VIVA - VOCE

This is the main step in English testing for the examinees. It has been generally neglected in schools due to overcrowding in the classrooms. As such viva-voce is a bug-bear to the majority of students and interviewers. But I have genuine feelings for this attitude and have full sympathy for their nervousness and inhibition. The Viva Voce shall aim at assessing the depth of knowledge, logical reasoning, and confidence and communication skills. It is simply to judge the awareness of the subject and to know how well one can communicate in Spoken English. There is no intention of the examiner to terrify by asking difficult questions.
